ShopFrontPro includes a comprehensive inventory system, so there's no need for separate software to keep track of your stock. Each time a purchase is made from your store - your quantity in stock figure will be automatically adjusted (e.g. if you have 100 items of a product in stock and someone makes a purchase - the quantity in stock figure will be automatically reduced to 99).
Every time an order is placed on your store, two things happen:
When the quantity of a particular item reaches 0 - it's automatically listed as 'out of stock' on your store front.
Yes. For example, if you sell t-shirts, you might have the one t-shirt available in multiple sizes (small, medium, large) and multiple colours (red, blue, green).
The inventory system allows you to set stock quantities for each individual item.
>When an item is running low on stock, ShopFrontPro will automatically send you a 'low stock notification' letting you know you're close to running out. You can set the level at which notifications are sent to you.
All data (orders, customers, products, etc) can be exported out of ShopFrontPro as a Comma Separated Delimited (CSV) file. This file can then be imported into accounting programs like MYOB or Quickbooks.
Yes, if you wish to operate your storefront without inventory tracking - you can switch it off.
